This course is a clinical skills training course and is not awarded JCAHPO CE credits. The cost of this course is $18.00- upon purchase the course will be available for viewing as many times as you like for the 2 week period immediately following the purchase date. Therefore once you purchase this course you will want to take it within 2 weeks as you will not have access to it after the 2 week period.

This course is in power point format and includes multiple simulations demonstrating how to use the Goldmann applanation tonometer and Tonopen. There are simulations to demonstrate how to align the miers to obtain the correct endpoint for measuring IOP in applanation tonometry. Additionally this course includes infomormation on the angle, anterior chamber, as well as other methods of intraocular pressure measurement. After completing this course the student should have a good working knowledge of how to perform intraocular pressure measurements using the tonopen and applanation tonometer.
